Three separate truths. Never blended.

An invoice, a tooling agreement, a factory acknowledgement and a photo can each support a different claim, and they can conflict. A title dispute stays visible even when current custody is known.

Matched on recorded markings, not image similarity. Sets keep parent/child links, and a partial receipt never receives the whole set.

Who claims to own it

Title is a recorded assertion with its documents. The record never adjudicates legal ownership.

Recorded custody changes only on a matching receipt. The date something was observed is stored apart from upload and review dates. An old photo doesn't make a record fresh.

02Custody transitions

A release is not a receipt.

Only a matching receipt closes a transfer and installs new custody. Until then the tool is in transit, not “at Beta.” A missing receipt never times out into success. Try each step, including a mismatched receipt.

    A dossier the brand can take elsewhere.

    When you finalize a case, it freezes a labelled snapshot. New evidence creates a new revision and marks dependent conclusions stale. History is never edited.

    • Immutable snapshotsA finalized snapshot is read-only. Reopening supersedes it and starts a new draft revision.
